Bio-Rad Discontinues PDQuest Software — Recommends TotalLab’s SameSpots and SpotMap 2D as Trusted Alternatives
Bio-Rad has officially announced the discontinuation of its PDQuest™ 2D gel analysis software, a widely used solution in proteomics and 2D gel-based workflows. As of June 2019, PDQuest will no longer be supported or sold, marking the end of an era for many researchers and quality control labs that relied on it for protein expression analysis, host cell protein coverage analysis and general 2D gel documentation.
But there’s good news: Bio-Rad is recommending TotalLab’s SameSpots and SpotMap 2D software as preferred alternatives for PDQuest users moving forward.
