Longitudinal Trending App | TrendLab
Current Challenges in Quality Control in Biopharma
Our TrendLab software is designed to give you a high-level overview in an interactive dashboard of your experimental data to be able to analyze trends and observe any QC failures within your lab. Furthermore, it intelligently predicts based on historical data if it suspects one of your measurements is nearing a QC failure and when that failure is predicted, allowing you to intervene before that happens.
In QC vocabulary: TrendLab plots each assay’s standards, controls and results over time, flags drift and out-of-trend (OOT) results against the acceptance ranges you define, and uses the history to predict when a measurement is heading for a failure, so you act on a shift while it is still a trend rather than after an out-of-limit result. It reads results from PlateLogic (ELISA and plate assays) and SpotMap MS (LC-MS HCP content and system suitability), and every data point opens the experiment behind it.
Better data visualization allows you to make smarter decisions, quicker.
- Harmonization of Data. Multiple different data streams make it difficult to bring together all your data to get a “bird’s eye view” to make informed decisions and get ahead of any potential QC failures.
Integration with SpotMap ELISA
Trendlab integrates effortlessly with our SpotMap ELISA software, allowing users to collate all of their ELISA experiments in one place to measure consistency and give easy to view QC metrics over time. Trendlab can even spot trends within the data and warn users if any of their parameters are drifting outside of their pre-defined QC acceptance ranges.
This is especially useful to manufacturers of ELISA kits, to identify
You can also click on a particular data point to automatically open that experiment to view all of the data contained within it, allowing you to troubleshoot any experiments.

21 CFR Part 11 and GMP/GMP-compliance
Trendlab, along with all TotalLab software, can be integrated into our 21 CFR Part 11/GMP-compliant AuditSafe software to ensure full 21 CFR/ALCOA/GMP/EU Annex 11 compliance for use in regulated industry environments (such as the pharmaceutical industry) where data traceability, accountability, and integrity are critical.
AuditSafe restricts software and data access through secure user sign-ins, granular permissions, audit logs, electronic signatures and image authenticity checks. Click here to find out more.
Full IQ/OQ Validation Packages Available
At TotalLab, we’ve been supporting the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies with highly secure, production-ready versions of our software for over a decade now and enjoy very good relationships across the industry.
We know the importance of properly validated software and how it forms part of your QC journey so we offer a full, in-person IQ/OQ package to accompany the sale of regulated versions of our software
Flexible Licensing Options
At TotalLab we’ve been working with pharmaceutical and academic life science customers for decades, we know that some of our users prefer offline licensing to enhance security within their sites. This isn’t a problem, all TotalLab software can be activated easily either online or offline.
Our licensing system licenses a whole computer at once, with no restrictions on the number of users who have access to the software on that computer.
Licenses can be purchased singularly for one computer or we also offer discounts on multiple license purchases at the same time if you want to cover multiple computers across your site; enabling hybrid working to perform analysis outside of the lab or to allow multiple analyses to happen at the same time.
We can also support enterprise licensing for full site-wide licenses covering large pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and research facilities at a significant discount vs buying singular or multiple licenses.
For pricing and any other licensing related queries please contact us.
How to Purchase
The best way to ensure you’re purchasing the latest version of TrendLab with the highest level of technical support is directly from us here at TotalLab by using the contact us form. We can accept payment in GBP (£), USD ($) or EUR (€).
TrendLab FAQs
What is TrendLab used for?
TrendLab is a longitudinal trending application for laboratory data. It tracks assay results over time, supporting QC monitoring and the detection of drift or trends in routine assays.
Who is TrendLab for?
TrendLab is designed for QC and analytical labs that run assays repeatedly and need to monitor performance over time rather than reviewing each run in isolation.
