Users of our SpotMap software, have you updated to our latest version? If you’re not aware, we’ve recently released version 5.4.578 of SpotMap. Keep reading for details of its latest features and how to upgrade to the latest version.

We pride ourselves on delivering up-to-date software developed to support our users’ needs in industry.
In our latest version release we’ve included the following new features:
– Transition speed control in the alignment window
– The ability to choose local / comparison colour schemes for spot outlines
– The ability to save / load spot outline colour schemes – which is a great feature for designing specific spot colour palettes for your experiments
– The option to export a clean image for data access, with no overlays of any kind
– The addition of page numbers included in exported PDF reports
We have also included molecular weight (MW) and isoelectric point (pI) overlay font size controls.
For regulated labs, there’s a 21 CFR part 11 / GxP compliant version of SpotMap too…

In addition, we’ve made improvements to performance and usability for 2D image analysis
This has included fixing a technical bug which would cause disappearing spots after a grazing freehand edit.
