A fresh new look: developing the UI of TotalLab

A fresh new look: developing the UI of TotalLab

It may not have escaped your notice that we have recently had a brand refresh and launched a brand-new website and we wanted to give you a quick insight into why we did this and what it signals for the future.

We have a long-standing heritage in creating image analysis software for the life science industry – we were spun out of Nonlinear Dynamics in 2013 after the company was acquired by the Waters Corporation.

Applying our industry knowledge and leveraging our close relationships with customers, our experienced developers have created software solutions that facilitate and enhance users’ experiences in several industry-standard research techniques.

This includes our 2D software, SpotMap, which enables researchers to make informed choices when choosing antigens for antibody development to detect HCPs and SameSpots which is the only 2D gel analysis technology that is proven to deliver cross lab reproducibility. Our 1D software, CLIQS, which enables the swift analysis of 1D gels and Western blots, quantification of protein arrays and colony counting and CLIQS 1D Pro which offers a powerful platform for 1D gel database creation, analysis and comparison between gels with automated band matching.

For the last 9 years we have been focused on the continuous development of our image analysis software based on user feedback and changes in industry. Now, whilst this focus hasn’t shifted, we identified that our image could do with a refresh to bring it in line with the UI design of our software.

We feel that our new website provides a greater user experience, and – now that we’re more able to attend conferences our new branding will help us to stand out better – with a more approachable image.

We will continue to grow the FAQ and Resource sections of our website to allow users to benefit from our decades of experience in the field of image analysis as well as offer guidance on regulations affecting industrial customers, such as 21 CFR part 11.

Looking ahead

Using the brand refresh and new website as a springboard we have a lot of exciting advances ahead of us, including growing our team and expanding our GxP software offerings to those who need to be FDA compliant within industry.

We’re also looking into using email newsletters to keep you updated on upcoming announcements and letting you know what events we’ll be attending – if you’d like to receive this complete the form in the page footer or click here. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time.

You can also follow us on LinkedIn for more regular updates.

We hope you like our new look and welcome you on this journey with us.
